A unique portrait of Jersey in Music. This CD contains the live recording of "The Rock", a symphony specially written by Gerard as a celebration work for 800 years of Jersey's unique independence and loyalty to the crown. The world premiere performance took place in People's Park, St Helier, Jersey on Liberation Day 2004. The Kings Chamber Orchestra, Jersey Premier Brass, the Island-wide "Rock" chorus, Jersey College for Girls Preparatory School Choir, Beaulieu Convent School Junior Choir were directed on stage by Gerard.
